Is your roof leaking?
Why does my roof still leak after waterproofing?
Common reasons are an old layer that has cracked, water standing because the slope is poor, blocked outlets, and edges or pipe joints that were not sealed. A good mistri checks all of these, not only a new coat on top.
Can I fix the roof myself?
Please do not climb on a wet or slippery roof, or work near a roof edge that has no wall. Falls from roofs cause serious injuries. Leave roof work to a trained mistri who works safely at height.
When is the best time to get the roof done?
Before the rains. Most coatings and sheets need a dry roof and dry days to set, so book the mistri early rather than when the water is already coming in.
