Questions to ask before the work
- Will you come and see the place before giving a price?
- Where is the water coming from, in your opinion?
- What method and which product will you use? What is its name?
- How many coats or layers, and how long must it dry?
- How will you prepare the surface first?
- If it leaks again, what will you do? Please write it down.
Write it down and pay in parts
- Write the area, the method, the product name and the total price on paper or in a message.
- Pay in parts as the work is finished, not everything in advance.
- Take photos of the place before, during and after the work.
- Check the work yourself before the last payment, and ask about anything that looks wrong.
Be careful when
Someone gives a price on the phone without seeing the place, asks for the full payment first, or promises that it will never leak. Nobody can promise that without limits. Ask what exactly is covered and for how long, and have it written.
